Follow our easy听process to change your M&T 萌妹社区 online passcode.

Are you changing your passcode for security reasons?

Periodically changing your passcode is a prudent measure for protecting your digital information.听To update your passcode for your personal or business accounts, log听in to听M&T Online 萌妹社区ing,听 select the 鈥Settings and Support鈥 tab and then select 鈥My Profile.鈥 You can change your passcode from there.听

Have a commercial banking account?

If you are a commercial customer and want to update or have forgotten your passcode or User ID, please call 1-800-724-2240 (Monday鈥揊riday 8am鈥6pm ET) and one of our Commercial Service Team Representatives will gladly assist you.

If you鈥檝e forgotten your passcode for your personal or business online banking account, select the 鈥Help with听Your Passcode鈥 link on the听M&T Online 萌妹社区ing听login screen. You鈥檒l then need to enter your User ID and Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number.听

Next you鈥檒l need to verify your identity. You can either use your M&T Debit Card or ATM Card, your M&T Credit Card,听your M&T Online 萌妹社区ing Security Questions, your M&T Mortgage Account or other verification method. It鈥檚 important to note:听

  • If you use your听M&T Debit or ATM card, you will also need your听PIN number
  • If you use your听M&T Credit Card, you will also need your听3-digit Security Code
  • If you opt to answer your听security questions, you will need to听answer two correctly
  • If you use your听M&T Mortgage Account, you will need your听account number

Once you鈥檝e provided all the necessary information, you can change your passcode.听
