Why should we care about other people?
The key word is Why? May we take this question inward truthfully?
Because God shows us the pathway to divine relations. We are to value one another.
Because the Divine “Inventor” of humanity values His invention and because we are part of His Plan to progressively improve. Each “invented” person is loved and supremely valued.
Because love is the most powerful force in all creation. The physical forces and energy powers are given because the great Lover of All has shared!
Because love is moving, living, and is real, present-tense evidence of divine progress. We have experience with love; it is continually potential, but experience is always the present moment.
Because there is a profound divine Plan for upgrading our planet Earth. Love is in the Plan.
Because we grow the planet into higher quality civil and personal relationships. Our behavior improves with love.
Because in time our costs of living will decrease when we reduce crime, egoistic judgment, and prejudice.
Because education will improve and confidence will increase for personal worth and purposes when we share love throughout many life challenges.
Because humanity benefits as people become Godlike. Because people seek to follow Jesus honestly!
Because we seek to know more of what love is and what mercy can mean to me and others.
Because we increase civil safety and become more efficient as we chose loving team work. Could there be a divine planetary goal?
We care about others because we see benefits for all. May you have joy while caring for others while they care for you! Can you see people who really do care?
All of the above comes alive when we give it freely to others.
Because there is ample evidence not caring is very problematic: war, stealing, prejudice, crime, greed, and many more examples.
And peace is far more attractive. Inside ourselves we are more happy.
Add your reasons as you attempt to address the question.
